responsible for uncovering, unlocking and demystifying the actionable intelligence from our business accounting and related work and ensuring implementation of measures arising from such insights to enhance our business performance. outcomes, not just the outputs of your work, are more valued at our company.<\/p>\n

key responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n

some of the key responsibilities of this position are:<\/p>\n

  1. 70-80% of your work will be to create decision-making-support analysis and insights, and the remaining 20-30% will be for review of the business’s past performance<\/li>\n
  2. provide a list of who are our most and least profitable customers (quarterly)<\/li>\n
  3. provide a list of our most and least profitable products\/services (quarterly)<\/li>\n
  4. weekly sales reporting<\/li>\n
  5. weekly purchase reporting<\/li>\n
  6. monthly \u2013 gross and net profit margin reporting<\/li>\n
  7. manage vendor bill payments<\/li>\n
  8. manage customer\/client invoicing and billing<\/li>\n
  9. prepare weekly cash flow statements, supplemented by a list of vendors\/ customers and their payables\/receivables due dates that are out of\/will be out of target norms<\/li>\n
  10. cash flow management<\/li>\n
  11. prepare monthly financial analysis to help us compare our own performance trends and industry performance by tracking key financial ratios<\/li>\n
  12. ensure 100% compliance with sales tax payments and filings<\/li>\n

  14. prepare departmental payroll analysis reports<\/li>\n

  16. manage banking\/financial institution relationships and processes<\/li>\n
  17. perform month-end close of accounts<\/li>\n
  18. prepare revenue recognition reports<\/li>\n
  19. prepare and explain financial statements<\/li>\n
  20. prepare and explain segmented financial statements based on our products\/services lines<\/li>\n
  21. ensure business tax returns are prepared accurately and filed in time<\/li>\n
  22. ensure individual tax returns \u2013 of company owners and the other employees who opt in to get their tax returns done internally \u2013 are prepared accurately and filed in time<\/li>\n
  23. ensure there are no notices\/penalties from irs\/state departments, and if any notices are received for any reasons beyond our control, ensure to utilize all professional resolution mechanisms\/rules available fully<\/li>\n
  24. ensure ongoing automation to reduce repetitive manual processes to optimize process outcomes and minimize process delays\/errors<\/li>\n
  25. connect the dots between executive decisions made\/not made and the financial results (quarterly)<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
