as both houses of congress move toward adjournment, cch has updated three of its special tax briefings on the provisions of estate tax, tax extender and health care legislation. <\/strong><\/p>\n \u201cit appears that senate action on the extenders and estate tax will have to wait until next year. and, although health care reform legislation is likely to pass in the senate before the end of the year, it\u2019s unlikely that differences between the house and senate can be resolved before 2010,\u201d said cch principal federal tax analyst mark luscombe, jd, llm, cpa.<\/p>\n\n
