multi-partner cpa firms. but i have a little bit different approach for smaller firms. that\u2019s today\u2019s topic.<\/p>\n<p>when you ask an employee or partner of one of the top accounting firms what advisory services are, you\u2019ll get a list with at least some of these items on it:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>personal financial planning<\/li>\n<li>fraud detection<\/li>\n<li>technology services<\/li>\n<li>it assurance<\/li>\n<li>business valuation<\/li>\n<li>mergers and acquisitions<\/li>\n<li>litigation support<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>all of these are specialties within our industry where you can get additional training and certifications to demonstrate your expertise.<\/p>\n<p>the problem with most of these advisory services is that they skip over the basics.<\/p>\n<p> <a
