during the busiest time of the year, accountants across the country stopped performing the cash-generating tax work they were deeply entrenched in. instead, they channeled their energy and effort to help their small business owner clients to get through a crisis that has been upsetting and gut-wrenching.
their clients and the small business community needed them and they were right by their side. within a matter of hours from the time the stimulus bill was announced, accountants hurriedly inhaled the contradicting rules and regulations to make sense of it.
they were there when needed to help desperate small business owners protect their livelihood. they spent countless “unbillable” hours to guide their clients and offer words of encouragement.
