right, in my experience amended 941 claims for erc refunds haven’t been issued by the irs after 7-8 months at this point and probably won’t be for a long time. timely filed erc refund claims in 2021 are being issued within a few weeks however.

the erc is probably the stupidest tax policy in the history of the us tax system. it sucks resources out of the irs that they didn’t have to start with. the money will arrive long after the economy has recovered. but if anybody deserves the money, it’s my clients :). a damn shame my firm doesn’t qualify. i like free money too.
